Let's get talking: Week 5

What a week!  so many memories, so much dust!  but the highlight was the Frenchmen. Thanks Janet, you don't need to tell us what really happened, I'm sure we've all let our imaginations fill in the gaps... :)

So we've seen your oldies but goodies, your process, your sewing rooms.  This week let's zoom in and take some close-up shots.  Please show us your favorite tool/notion.

Thimble, needlebook, pincushion, Long Arm.  What can't you quilt without?
And then tell us:
  1. Where did you get it and how long have you been using it?
  2. What makes it so great?  Why does it work for you?

  2. Haha, only if this becomes a group topic. Maybe if Jessica runs out of ideas... We might get a really high response rate, n'est-ce pas?

  3. janet,
you mean something like "This week, tell us what you think took place over that weekend in Vermont between janet, her pal, and those three hot french guys" ???
this is supposed to be a quilting blog! i don't want to get flagged for inappropriate content!
    haha.
but yeah, if we get a slow week, it's an idea..

  4. Well, I realize my quilting career had an auspicious beginning, but I'm sure there are more good stories out there. You don't have topics picked out for all the weeks, do you?

  5. No, I dont have all the weeks planned out. David and I brainstormed at the last meeting so I've got a list, but suggestions are welcome (please send them in an email to keep the suspense... jessunderquilts at yahoo dot com).
