December meeting! Dec 3rd.

Hello MetroMOD members!

Our Saturday December 3rd Meeting is fast approaching!

And it will be loaded with FUN for our festive December party!

What to bring:

Lunch for yourself, 
and some yummy thing if you like to share....

One thing for Show and tell

Something for a quilty share table... bring in goodies  you can put on the share table.. fabrics,notions,orphan blocks etc...
**Please note,that whatever come in, must go home if it is not taken by somebody else...

Meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.due to some Extra FUN surprises I have for you!

Fabric dying class, same location

Come and enjoy several easy ways of dyeing and printing cotton fabric. Using inexpensive materials, you can create original fabrics that you can use in your quilting or other projects.

"pan" dyeing, microwave dyeing with RIT dyes, printing with compression sponges, rubbing plates and Styrofoam plates.

The list of materials for the students to bring:
aluminum pie pans, 
yogurt containers (6-8 oz "tall" containers like Dannon Fruit on the Bottom)
and a roll of paper towels. 

Class fee $10, due day of class
