For my Friend whose 40

Okay, In my recent past life I also supervised....that time it was Assistant D.A.'s and I had the pleasure of having a wonderful group of ADA's...One of them, became a really good friend, and we travelled a lot (mostly Central America...)and hung out in Central Park at Summer Stage on those wonderfully hot days...and then 2 years ago, she was one of three very very close friends that moved away...one to AZ, one went to Ghana, and she went to Seattle...All of that to say, she just turned 40, and she is here for a bridal shower, and we have a surprise B'day party planned tonight. We hung out over the weekend...and I realized...OMGoodness, I didn't make her ANYTHING>>>>>

So what did I do...After the Guild meeting yesterday..smiles...I shopped there...and then headed to my favorite City Shop....and picked up some "NY State of Mind" fabric. (I like that song...and that's what I hear in my head everytime i see the new york collection of fabric..) and I whipped this up in about an Hour and a Half, and now She has a little something to remember NYC...smiles..
