E's June block..

Oh so freeing..it has been quite a while since I have had the luxury to chop at will...Smiles.  Everything was for a set purpose, every creation had a deadline...so there was not too much room for error...or mindless creation... So, I thought about what block to create.  I do not have any vintage blocks...so I went to my trusty City store and found some traditional looking fabric and created a rail fence block in 10 inches.

I then went crazy...smiles and sliced and added scraps from a quilt I am finishing for my lil sister that graduates tomorrow and is off to Maryland for Teach for America... and this is what I came up with...See you all next week...and have a lovely holiday weekend...
