Sew in at Pins and Needles . . . .

Yesterday we had some Mods sewing up a storm at Pins and Needles
on the upper east side of Manhattan.

Rachel was so welcoming to our group!
And Molly, scampering around our feet looking for love.

Rachel recently expanded her shop to include this beautiful sewing studio.
And we loved invading it for the afternoon.

Maria

Margaret and Ellen

Liz and Kim

Maria's first free motion quilting project.
And it is amazing!!

My daughter Caroline's scrappy trip,
I was not allowed to show her face. Hehe.

Nellie

Andrea and Deborah

Kim's bee block quilt from a couple years ago
is all together and basted.  So cool!

Julie

 Liz and her block

Karen and Emily sent us this picture from work, they couldn't join us.
Hehe.
I guess they were a bit jelly.

So we had to send one back!

As the time drew to a close everyone got quiet
and focused on their sewing.
It's never enough time right!?

Thanks so much to Rachel for hosting us!
We had lots of fun.  Check out her cute shop
at 1045 Lexington Avenue, second floor.

  1. I, too, am so jealous! Looks like you all had a lot of fun and got a lot of great things accomplished. Maybe next time... sigh

  2. Oh, I made one of those blocks in Kim's quilt. It is so nice to see all the blocks together, looks great!
