Last Month of the Bee

I got busy on this month's block for Suzanne because I need to take my sewing machine in for yearly maintenance soon, and I certainly didn't want to be late for the last month of the bee.  There was no mention of whether or not the star was to be wonky or not, so I went with not.  It's fun to look through all sorts of star blocks.  I think this star went well with the fabrics.  

I can honestly say that I enjoyed the entire year of this bee.  I know I was queen last summer and have yet to put my blocks together into a quilt, but I'm hoping to do it this summer.  I look forward to seeing each person's quilts as they get them finished.  :)
