January Bee Block for Brian

This is only my second attempt at making a Dresden Plate block.  The first was the block we made for Nicole over a year ago now.  I found this one more challenging than the first, mainly because I didn't know what size the blades should be.  After cutting almost all of them out, I realized that they were way too big and would never fit the backing fabric Brian had provided, nor would I have enough fabric.  All was well in the end though.  I cut the large ones down to a better size and "made" some fabric out of some of the pieces for a few blades and I'm quite happy now with how the block came out.  I will take it to the P.O. tomorrow, Brian, and I hope you'll be happy with it.
