Using my new FMQ skills

I couldn't figure out how to quilt this colorful block in a quilt for a friend's dad who's undergoing chemo.  I'm not entirely comfortable with my FMQ skills just yet (I haven't been practicing as frequently as Rachael recommends), but I decided to throw caution to the wind and try it out on this small area of a larger quilt.  (It's about 12" square.)

Yes, I opted to go with pebbles (big surprise), since it's what I'm most comfortable with at this point.  I like how it turned out, and I hope Roger does, too.  Thanks again, Rachael!
