Wonky log cabin! Andrea gave us some gorgeous fabrics (Gotham Quilts anyone?) and asked us to create a 12.5" wonky log cabin block. Here is mine, with an obvious choice of Tula Pink's fabric front and center.
I enjoyed adding my own fabrics to the mix and trying to keep the palette tight.
A note about wonkiness: not so carefree. Not so spontaneous. At least for me, it is the hardest thing to do, to keep the angles in an apparent randomness. It took a while.
I hope you like the block, Andrea, and that you can make a great quilt with all of them!
Looks great Maria! And I totally agree with about wonky being harder!
