February and April Blocks

Ariana asked for a geometric shape.  I decided on an equilateral triangle made of the three fabrics she included.  It let me play with some angles and practice a y-seam.  The math teacher in me was proud of the result.

Emily N.'s tea-inspired applique block.  I used a Pigma Micron marker (permanent) to doodle the steam.  Fun!

  1. Thank you for the beautiful teacup block! I can't wait to include it in my tea-inspired quilt!

  2. Love the tea cup block! Wish I had a real cup that looks like that :)

  3. so impressed with your y seams! and love the tea cup!

  4. great blocks! My favorite is the triangle. So graphic and powerful.
