April 2019 Meeting Recap

Lisa Reber brought her hand dyed fabrics for us to drool over and purchase.


Announcements
  • Final payment for the June retreat is due at the May meeting.

Icebreaker
Deborah lead us in another fun "get to know you" game.

Coat of Arms
Nina added something every chic quilter needs...
a cell phone!

The coat was passed to Sue for more adventures. 

Raffle Quilt
You can buy your tickets at the May meeting for a chance to win this amazing "Round Robin" quilt!

Round Robin Quilt
Lisa added the blocks at the top, then passed it to Susan.
This one has been gone for years!

Charity Quilts
Theresa showed us another completed quilt for St. Vincents.

"Perfect Circle" Demo
Christine E. showed us how to put perfect circles on our quilts with fusing.




 

Show and Tell

Bernadette finished her One Block Wonder top.

Chris E. Recreated a painting with blocks made by guild members. 


Marie's quilt was inspired by Venice, Italy.

Margaret's improv quilt started with a charm pack from Anita.

Susan's quilt was quilted with flowers.  


Emily's placemats are made with silk fabric...

...she made this stack-and-whack quilt and called it "Don't Bug Me".

Naomi made this matzoh holder as a gift.

This is Diana D.'s first quilt!

Sarah made this quilt for her nephew.

Diana C. made this top for the baby of a coworker...

...and this double-wedding ring for herself.
