May 2019 Meeting Recap

An Inspiring Presentation!

Sheri Cifaldi-Morrill from Whole Circle Studio shared her quilting journey, with lots of eye candy!

Icebreaker

We shared with each other a tool or technique that best represents who we are as quilters.

Announcements

Charity
Blocks for Theresa are due in June.

We received a large donation of fabric from Candy's Quilting to use for charity projects. Thanks to Candy for the donation...it will be put to good use!

Coat of Arms
Hello Canada! Sue took the coat to Niagara Falls.
She'll keep it until next month, so she has time to add something to it.

Round Robins
This quilt was quilted by Rachel Dorr and will most likely be raffled off in the fall...stay tuned!

Block Lotto
The April blocks were won by Maureen H.
For May, make a nine-patch block that will be turned into a "disappearing nine patch".

Show and Tell
Jacqui made this quilt for a friend in Scotland.

Ivete made this Carolyn Friedlander quilt but added to it to make it bigger.

Jean made this quilt for her niece to take to college.

Anthony did all of this free motion quilting himself!

Ariane printed all of the fabric in this quilt herself...

...and for this one she added some commercial fabrics...

...and  this one was inspired by Sue Spargo.

Nancy made this baby quilt with the polka dots she loves

Marie finished this quilt she started at the retreat, and had it long-arm quilted.

Maren made this quilt for herself with Bee blocks she's had for years.

See you in June!
