I'm the Queen! I'm the Queen!!

July Bee Blocks . . .
I get to be the Queen for a whole month!
How exciting.
This is my first Bee and I have to say it has been a lot of fun.
Our first two months went very well, and I have really enjoyed
being a part of this group.

For My Block I have chosen Triangles.
I love triangles, all kinds.
I am sending each of you a red triangle to use in your block.
Please don't cut it up, use it just as it is.
I am also sending along brights and scraps, and other triangles.
I would love for you to mix in some brights from your stash too,
make it really scrappy!

You can do any kind of block you would like . . .
You just have to use the red triangle.
The triangle doesn't have to be in the center of the block,
put it wherever your heart desires.

And you don't have to use other triangles if you are not inclined.
Just that one red one. Mix it up and throw caution to the wind.
I am looking for a graphic, bright scrappy block.

Flying Geese? Love it.
Half Square Triangles? Love it.
60* Triangles? Love it too.
Wonky or not, it's all up to you.
Please make your blocks 12.5" square.
Your packets went out today.
I can't wait to see what you come up with!

I wish we had a meeting this month so you could all curtsy to me!
Haha. Have fun!

  1. Ooh, can't wait to make a triangle-full block!

  2. A curtsey to you my dear Queen Bee...Oh the ideas are buzzing....from your worker bee E...smiles

  3. Great challenge! Love this idea...looking forward to it!
