Last year, February 2016, we teamed up with Timeless Treasures to create Quilts For Kids charity quilts using #QuiltsForKids' Dash Basic fabric. The bright, tone on tone colours are fun to work with and 10% of the net sales of the fabric are donated to the organisation.
This is the challenge they set for us (click on the images to make them larger):
Finished blocks were brought along to our March meeting, made by pairing up into teams of two and making inverted colourways of an assigned block.
At our May meeting, we had two finished quilt tops,
and as we started our new Guild year in October, we had 3 completed tops.
Timeless Treasures took the tops to make up into quilts and have been giving sneak peeks on IG and FB of how they now look.
And today, they're revealing the finished quilts on the Timeless Treasures' Sew Timeless blog.
Head over later to see how the finished quilts look, the pics are fab.
