March 2024 Meeting Recap

 March’s meeting had a ton of lovely quilts to share.

Jody kicked off our show and tell with her “Plaid-ish” quilt - pieced to appear plaid. Very nice finish!


Maureen showed her impressive improv quilt made from Mod Tech Mystery challenge by Nancy Powell


Laurie wowed us with her variation on double wedding ring quilt and even had great backing fabric to go with the colorful design.




Claire showed another impressive scrap log cabin made with shirts from family members.


Claire also showed a stunning EPP travel quilt. This received a lot of oohs and awes!


Fiona showed her sweet Bows and Arrows quilt - pattern by SuzyQuilts, fabric from Spoonflower, with a pieced, scrappy backing.



Theresa showed an incredible paper pieced animal quilt - pattern from a book.



Kira showed her Kawandi quilt with 8 different animal fabrics. Can you see them?


Chris showed really incredible city sunset postcard sized quilts.


Lenny shared a wonderfully finished block lotto quilt with fun back!



Elinor first shared a stunning Pink Star machine quilt, hand quilted with art gallery binding


Elinor then shared a colorful improv quilt inspired by Alp mountain flowers


Pam stunned us with a very coolTesselate pattern quilt with Kafe Fasset fabrics


Maren’s “Then Came June” Peanut Butter quilt received lots of excitement. Almost as much as the Michael Miller cat backing fabric!



Jean showed an amazing one block wonder quilt.


Anthony first showed an impressive pine burr quilt make with men’s fabrics, inspired by Gees Bend Quilters.


Anthony then showed is showstopping scrap - displayed earlier this year at quilt con quilt. This stunner is made with 540 different fabrics!


Ann wrapped up the show and tell with great pieces for upcoming wedding quilt, made with scrap table findings!
