December Lucky 13 Bee Blocks for Maria

Here are my rainbow blocks for Maria, our December queen. The number of green blocks shouldn't surprise anyone.

I don't know how "traditional" my center block is, but I wasn't at all confident that I could accurately make a tiny churn dash (my favorite traditional block). A cathedral window variation is kind of traditional, right?

Scrappy Rocky Road to Kansas for Karen

I really enjoyed making this block & hope it meets your expectations

... no red, brown, black ... all colors I love to use!

I've got enough green to try this again & follow the directions exactly:

press the seams open.

I pressed the seams in rather than pressing them open

... wanted the triangles to pop ...

but that made for some difficult joining!
