My opposites block for the June Challenge! This was made with leftover Cherry Wood semi-solid from the February Challenge plus some 30s repro print from my first eBay foray into fabric about 7 years ago. Fun!

Mary's June Challenge Blocks

June Challenge Blocks

I know you'll see these in about 16 hours, but here's a quick preview of my group quilt blocks for June! They were both exactly the same, like the "traditional" Attic Windows block on the left, and then I chopped one to pieces to make the block on the right.

Can't wait to see, in person, the ones we've already seen on the blog, as well as the ones we haven't seen yet! See you tomorrow!

OOPS

After posting my block yesterday I reread the directions & discovered that it was not the required size of 12.5!
But now it is ... thanks to that "ugly fat quarter" swap at the last meeting.
(It pained me to cut into that fabric because it is far from ugly & I was saving it for something special. A special thanks to whomever put that piece into the mix!)

So now I've completed two challenges with one block & look forward to the Saturday meeting .
