For her May block, Christine sent us fabric and instructions to make a block based on the Big Star Quilt tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt Company. Made almost entirely of half-square triangles, it was an easy and fun block. (It didn't hurt that the fabrics I got were green and purple!)
For her June block, Margaret asked us to make an improvisational block using a combination of fabrics she sent and fabrics from our stash. She wanted us to use only squares and rectangles, but we were asked not to use a ruler (always a challenge for me). I think I met all of the requirements, and I think it turned out well.

Autumn leaves etc. for Andrea Murray
Autumn has my favorite colors, and my favorite objects - leaves - so I had a party with this month's block. The flower is sort of cheating - but it does bloom at the end of the summer, and it was smiling in the share table . . .
